History of the event
The Thomas Burris Memorial Tournament began in 2009 and is named in the honor and memory of Thomas Burris who was a collegiate bowler at Pikeville College who passed away. This event is hosted each year by Pikeville College and has bowled at Collins Bowling Center Eastland each and every year since it inception in 2009.
